I’m so so sorry everyone that I haven’t been on here in a few months. My stomach sadly has been getting worse and worse. It was actually getting a lot better and I honestly have no clue what happened. I’m going to try and go back to my stomach doctor sometime this month to have more tests done.
If anyone still has any questions or comments, feel free to message me and ask anything or say anything. (:

HI, I also have candida but have been using a yeast free/sugar free diet with probiotics and antifungals and regular colonics to treat it. Ive been doing it a month and dont feel much improvement yet. What medication were you put on that made you feel so much better? A lot of the time, antibiotics are the cause for candida as it breaks down the good bactera in your stomach so I'm curious as to what antibiotic your Dr. put you on! Glad you are feeling better!
I answered:Hi! I’m so sorry it’s taken forever for me to reply. I’ve been absolutely so sick the last few months. I was actually getting better, and now I’m at the worst it’s ever been.
Anyways, I was taking probiotics like you said, and also Bentyl helps a lot with the stomach cramping, diarrhea, ect.. but it really only helps cover up the symptoms.
I wish I could give more advice, but I’m still trying to figure this all out more. There is a antifungal medication that my dr had given me called Diflucan. The first time I took it, I felt AMAZING. Then my dr gave me a prescription of it, and when I started taking it everyday that’s when my symptoms got actually more severe. You can try Diflucan, but only take it one time! I made the mistake of taking it every single day.
Did anyone read my last two posts about Candida?
Literally none of my followers have responded to them. I posted them to be able to help all of you. If this tumblr is worthless, and no one is reading my posts, I’m just going to delete it.
A lot of my information from my previous post was from: www.thecandidadiet.com It’s an amazing website, and I learned so much!
There’s also a website with even more amazing information also and its: holistichelp.net
On that website they talk about all the other symptoms that Candida can cause. I have almost every single symptom of it. Here are more of the symptoms that Candida can cause:
- abdominal gas and bloating
- headaches
- migraines
- excessive fatigue
- cravings for alcohol
- anxiety
- vaginitis
- rectal itching
- cravings for sweets
- inability to think clearly or concentrate
- hyperactivity
- mood swings
- diarrhea
- constipation
- hyperactivity
- itching
- acne
- eczema
- depression
- sinus inflammation
- pre-menstrual syndrome
- dizziness
- poor memory
- persistent cough
- earaches
- low sex drive
- muscle weakness
- irritability
- learning difficulties
- sensitivity to fragrances and/or other chemicals
- cognitive impairment
- thrush
- athlete’s foot
- sore throat
- indigestion
- acid reflux
- chronic pain
If you have almost all these symptoms, then you most likely have this horrible yeast Candida. It literally makes me sick to think that this has been in my body for years, and no doctor has ever told me. The fact that it can cause a variety of different medical problems, and doctors don’t even care, is just sad. But like I said in the last post, please get checked out for a yeast infection.
A yeast infection(candida) is more serious than people think, it can cause: mental health conditions, alcoholism, anxiety, asthma, IBS, addisons disease, MCS, Chron’s, Autisum, CFS, Leaky gut syndrome, PMS, Endometriosis, FMS, Prostatitis, ADD, Multiple Sclerosis, Food allergies, Muscle & Joint Pain, Depression, Repeated UTI infections, Hormonal Imbalances, Migraines, Digestive Disturbances, Difficult Menopause, Lupus, Chronic Pain, Tourette’s, Vulvodynia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and the list goes on and on.

Hi everyone! Please Please Please read this whole entire thing. I know it’s long, but I really think it can help almost every single one of you out!
So I’m 98% sure that I now know what is absolutely wrong with me. In August when I was diagnosed with IBS, I had also been diagnosed with a yeast infection. My stomach doctor never told me though how serious a yeast infection is. And he never even gave me medication to get rid of it. I actually totally had forgotten about it up until a week ago until my gynecologist had also told me.
The last week I’ve been doing so much research on a yeast infection, and I found out that it’s actually a fungus(yeast) that grows inside of you. It can cause so many symptoms. For everyone who has IBS, or other medical problems, please look at this list of symptoms.
- Abdominal Pain
- Fatigue
- Bloating, Gas, Indigestion
- Oral Thrush
- Joint Pain
- Weight Gain
- Fungus
- Confusion, Dizziness
- Urinary Infections
- Red, Itchy Eyes
- Rashes & Itching
- Depression & Mood Swings
- Cravings
- White Coating on Tounge
- Acne
And those are just SOME of the symptoms of it. So many people these days are diagnosed with IBS, Crohn’s disease, Colitis, Endometriosis, and the list goes on. But in fact, they may actually have Candida. I’m not saying that every single person on this earth who has these medical problems, has Candida, but the more and more research I do on it, I can see a connection.
I’ve had Candida for years now, without ever even knowing it. Every time I was at the ER for my IBS, they would always tell me I had a UTI infection. I didn’t sadly find out I had Candida until this August when I had a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. But it still went untreated. I then found out again last week from my gynecologist that I STILL had the yeast infection. My doctor had put me on ONE pill for it, which I found ridiculous, and the day after I took it, I literally felt amazing. My energy was back, no longer felt sick, and I had literally never felt this good in years. But now I’m back to feeling sick again, and always feeling fatigued.
I did a lot of research and my doctor was actually supposed to give me at least a 6 week supply of it. What I also found out was doctors aren’t taught much about Candida so they just act like it’s no problem. That’s why so many people are diagnosed with IBS because doctors just don’t want to realize that there IS something serious going on.
So everyone, please DONT give up hope. I know that Colonoscopy’s are scary and same with Endoscopy’s, and also going to a gynecologist can be scary, but PLEASE have these tests done. If I would of never of had those tests done, I would of never of knew I’ve had a yeast growing inside of my body, eating up ALL my nutrients and making me so sick everyday. And if you already have had these tests done, please go to your doctors and ask to be tested for a yeast infection. If you do have a yeast infection, then that is FOR SURE what is causing all of your symptoms.

Hello! Yes, I had my first colonoscopy in August. I should of had it done when my symptoms first started a few years ago, but I was terrified. Honestly, the prep is the hardest part, but believe me it’s ALL worth it! I’m so happy now that I had the colonoscopy. Also, it doesn’t hurt at all. I was afraid I was going to wake up in extreme pain, but I had no pain at all and the doctor told me right away that it was IBS. Please, please do the colonoscopy. It could be something very serious, or it could be IBS, but wouldn’t you rather get it over with, instead of just wondering? (: If you have any more questions feel free to ask! Xo Jen <3
Also, I told all of you I would give you the recipes Heather has in her book for Thanksgiving. Someone just reminded me about that, so I will post that real fast. (:
So those are the tips that Ms. Heather gives us. (: Like I said, I’m not a cook, so I will honestly be just eating the normal. But if you’re a cook, or you’re family cooks, you could ask them to make everything special for you, because of your IBS.
I hope ALL of you have such an amazing Thanksgiving! Please don’t let your IBS, or other medical conditions ruin it for you. And remember, Thanksgiving is about being thankful, and just spending time with you’re family. Don’t get upset if you can’t eat certain foods, or if you end up getting sick. Just stay strong. One day, their WILL be a cure for EVERYTHING! We all just gotta keep praying and hoping. <3
If any of you have any of your own special IBS recipes, please, please email them to me, so I can share them with everyone whose following me. That would be great! Either use my “ask” link or email me at jenann_IBShelp@yahoo.com
